Studio Construction 2
Supplying cold air overhead was fairly simple, but how to get to the floor to draw it back out wasn’t obvious. We had already planned to fill the corners of the control rooms with frictional absorbers. Epiphany! Drop duct-work down to the floor in the corners without eating up any extra workspace.
These pics show the installation process starting with an intake duct in the corner. Next a duct gets framed, then rock wool is stuffed around it and over it, then it is covered with quilting and finally fabric.
