Don Novello

Any time it makes sense, our directors encourage voice actors to adlib within the framework of the script to help bring more character to a project. In the movie Atlantis, Don Novello voiced a character named Vinny, the Italian demolitions expert. In one of the videogames Vinny was supposed to setup the beginning of an activity by counting to three then saying, “Go!” Don said:

“I’m a-gonna count-a to three and say, ‘Go,’ but I’m a-gonna skip two. Ready? One. Three. Go!”
